  • How do I make a booking?

    We accept bookings online (click to booking page) or by phone. We will require a deposit with the booking; you pay the balance when you arrive. Deposits can be made in cash or by bank transfer. Contact us for details.

  • How many people per escape room?

    This depends on the theme room:

    GOTCHA
    Recommended for 3-6 players, though it can accommodate up to 8.

    MU-T
    This is designed for 4-7 players though it can be played with 3-8 people.

    The WITCH
    This is designed for 5-6 players, though it can be played with 4-7 people.

  • How long is a game?

    The whole experience will last for around 90 - 120 mins.

  • Age Limit?

    GOTCHA

    Gotcha is for all ages, but we require 3 adults in a group, and no more than 2 kids under 8.

    MU-T

    MU-T is suitable for people over 8 years.

    The WITCH

    The Witch is suitable for people 15 years and older. Children under 12 can join in if accompanied by a responsible adult or guardian.

  • What are the features of the different games? Are there any guidelines?

    We believe our games go beyond the conventional escape and puzzle setup. We have three rooms that are distinctly themed adventures or mysteries, designed to suit different groups of different ages and interests.

    GOTCHA 

    A fantasy espionage adventure – Retracing an older jungle expedition you are to assist a captain in the rescue of a kidnapped elf named PIKA, who may or may not be friendly.

    With no scary content this idea for families.

    MU-T 

    Your team is required to steal a specific item of treasure from a well-guarded museum. Operation codename: MU-T

    This is a more advanced scenario, but there is no scary content.

    The WITCH 

    Set in the middle ages, there is great animosity toward witches. One particular Witch has the means to create an elixir for immorality, but for some reason she has never completed her plans. It is believed that she may need human blood, and is on the lookout for a suitable victim.

    This adventure has a macabre horror theme, reflected with appropriate atmosphere. As it is one of the more difficult escape room it is recommended for experienced players over 15 years of age.

    While the design and imagery in all our themed game rooms is engaging and high tech we assure you that there is nothing to startle the players. The adventures work on atmosphere and storyline, not shock or surprize.

  • What if there are more or less people than when I booked?

    The cost depends on the final number of players, not the number of players originally stated in the booking.

    You can add an extra player to your party any time prior to starting the game, there's no need to rebook or contact us. As long as you don't exceed the maximum number of people permitted for each room (or go under the minimum) we can adjust the cost on the day.

  • What happens if I can’t solve the puzzle?

    We monitor the games to make sure things are progressing well. If you get stuck at any part we will give you a hint. Every group of players is different, and games are never quite played the same way twice. We are interested in making sure your group is enjoying their particular experience.

  • Will I really be locked in?

    You won’t really by locked in. Obviously this would be a safety problem. You are able to leave the room at any time.

  • Do I need to bring anything that might prove helpful?

    No. The games are designed to be completely self-contained, so you don’t need to bring anything. In fact, the point is solve the puzzles and experience the adventure using only the collective abilities of your group. Just bring an open minds and a little anticipation. We safely store all your personal belongings during the game.

  • Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy?

    Unfortunately we cannot provide a refund for a confirmed reservation, purchased vouchers or for any group that simply do not show up.

    You can reschedule your game if you give us at least 48-hour notice by e-mail. info@ctadventureescapegame.com.au.

  • Are your games good for team building or group activity?

    Absolutely! We specifically designed the game scenarios to encourage team cooperation. Using the combined resources of a group provides a lot a valuable insights. We find out who is analytical, who thinks laterally, who can take the lead. Some individuals see details, some see overall patterns.

    Try a game room for a team building exercise, and find other sides to people you though you knew well.

  • Do you sell any Gift vouchers?

    Yes, we sell e-gift vouchers.
    Please review the price and select the number of people (click to theme introduction page). Email us and pay by bank transfer or credit card. We will send the e-gift voucher with an exclusive voucher code via email. The recipient of the voucher can redeem by booking online. The expiry date is two months from the date of purchase.
